Educational & Technical Disclaimer

This Disclaimer explains the limits of Motion Capture education, technical demonstrations, third-party product references, workflow examples, and participant reliance on the materials.

1. Educational Purpose

All lectures, demonstrations, videos, documents, examples, references, and communications are provided for general education and professional development. They are not a substitute for manufacturer training, engineering services, workplace safety procedures, legal advice, cybersecurity advice, electrical advice, employment advice, certification, or project-specific production supervision.

2. No Guarantee of Results

Motionforge Edit does not guarantee that a participant will master a technique, complete a project, obtain employment, receive a promotion, earn income, qualify for certification, operate equipment without error, or achieve a particular animation, capture, or commercial result. Outcomes depend on many factors outside the service, including experience, practice, equipment quality, camera placement, environment, performer preparation, software version, computing resources, licensing, team coordination, and project decisions.

3. Technology Changes

Motion Capture hardware, camera systems, suits, gloves, facial systems, drivers, plugins, game engines, animation software, operating systems, and licensing terms change frequently. A demonstration reflects the equipment and software environment available when it was prepared. Controls, menus, compatibility, pricing, availability, and recommended procedures may later change.

Participants should verify current specifications, supported versions, safety information, license terms, and installation requirements with the manufacturer or official publisher before purchasing or using a product.

4. Hardware and Studio Safety

Motion Capture work may involve cameras, tripods, cables, lighting, electrical equipment, wearables, helmets, facial rigs, markers, platforms, props, and physical performance. Participants are responsible for following manufacturer instructions, maintaining a safe capture area, securing cables and equipment, using appropriate supervision, assessing physical limitations, and complying with workplace and venue rules.

Motionforge Edit does not inspect the participant's physical studio or certify that equipment, rigging, electrical connections, props, or performance activities are safe. A participant should stop any activity that creates pain, instability, equipment risk, electrical risk, or other unsafe conditions and should seek appropriate professional assistance.

5. Software and Data Risk

Participants should back up projects, test workflows on noncritical files, maintain version control where appropriate, and review software permissions before installing plugins, drivers, scripts, or updates. Motionforge Edit is not responsible for lost data, corrupted files, incompatible updates, license interruption, cloud-service failure, security incidents, or production downtime caused by third-party software or participant decisions.

6. Third-Party Products and Documentation

References to a manufacturer, product, software platform, distributor, sales representative, or online manager are provided for identification and educational convenience. Motionforge Edit is independent from those third parties unless a relationship is expressly disclosed. A reference is not a warranty, sponsorship, certification, or promise that a product is suitable for the participant.

Third parties control their own pricing, stock, shipping, contracts, support, warranties, returns, privacy practices, and legal terms. Any purchase or communication with a third party is between the participant and that third party.

7. Authorized Distributor Introductions

Where requested, Motionforge Edit may help a participant locate an authorized distributor or product specialist. We do not guarantee that a specific representative is available, that the representative serves the participant's region, or that a quotation will be favorable. Participants should independently confirm authorization, identity, product condition, warranty coverage, taxes, customs, shipping, and payment security before purchasing.

8. Demonstration Files and Examples

Sample data and demonstrations may be simplified to explain a concept. They may not reflect every production constraint, capture volume, skeleton, naming convention, coordinate system, export setting, or quality-control requirement. Participants are responsible for adapting general instruction to their own project and testing the result.

9. Professional and Commercial Decisions

Equipment purchasing, studio investment, hiring, budgeting, client commitments, production deadlines, and software licensing are business decisions. Participants should conduct independent due diligence and obtain advice from qualified professionals when appropriate. Motionforge Edit is not responsible for costs or losses resulting from a participant's purchase, implementation, or commercial decision.

10. Availability and Accuracy

Reasonable efforts are made to present clear and useful information, but the services may contain errors, omissions, outdated references, or differences caused by software configuration. The website and materials are provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Motionforge Edit may correct, update, replace, or withdraw content without guaranteeing that every version remains available.

11. Limitation of Reliance

Before applying an instruction to a live production, participants should test the procedure, compare it with current official documentation, maintain backups, and confirm that it fits the specific system and project. The participant remains responsible for final technical decisions and quality control.

12. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes a warranty, duty, remedy, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where mandatory law gives a participant rights that conflict with this Disclaimer, the mandatory law controls.
