Intellectual Property & Acceptable Use Policy

This Policy defines the limited educational license provided to participants and the rules protecting original course content, live sessions, technical resources, participant files, accounts, and platform security.

1. Ownership

The website, course structure, original lectures, recordings, text, graphics, diagrams, slides, teaching methods, checklists, templates, demonstrations, selection and arrangement of materials, and other original content are owned by or licensed to Motionforge Edit and are protected by copyright, trademark, trade-secret, contract, and other laws. Purchasing access does not transfer ownership.

Third-party product names, software interfaces, manuals, documentation, logos, media, and other materials remain the property of their respective owners. Their inclusion for identification, commentary, instruction, interoperability, or reference does not imply ownership or endorsement.

2. Limited Educational License

Subject to payment and compliance with the applicable terms, Motionforge Edit grants the registered participant a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable license to access and use the purchased materials during the access period for the participant's own education or authorized internal professional development. The license does not permit public performance, publication, resale, redistribution, commercial training of third parties, or creation of a competing educational product.

3. Permitted Use

  • Viewing lessons and demonstrations through the authorized account.
  • Downloading resources that are expressly made downloadable.
  • Using permitted templates or checklists internally to organize the participant's own workflow.
  • Taking personal notes and applying general techniques to the participant's own original work.
  • Quoting brief portions for legitimate commentary or reference where allowed by law and accompanied by appropriate attribution.

4. Prohibited Use

  • Sharing login credentials or allowing another person to access a personal account.
  • Recording, screen-capturing, copying, downloading, or extracting content when the interface or written terms do not authorize it.
  • Uploading course materials to public or private sharing sites, cloud folders, social networks, forums, repositories, messaging groups, or internal knowledge bases accessible beyond the licensed participant.
  • Selling, licensing, translating, adapting, repackaging, or distributing materials or substantially similar derivative training.
  • Removing copyright, authorship, source, watermark, technical-protection, or ownership notices.
  • Using bots, crawlers, scraping tools, automated downloaders, browser automation, credential stuffing, or other methods to extract content or interfere with security.
  • Using protected content as training data, evaluation data, retrieval content, or prompt material for a competing commercial artificial-intelligence system or automated course-generation system without written authorization.
  • Misrepresenting Motionforge Edit materials as the participant's original training, certification, endorsement, or official manufacturer documentation.

5. Live Sessions

Live lectures may not be recorded, streamed, photographed, transcribed, or redistributed without prior written approval. Notes may be taken for personal educational use. Group organizers are responsible for informing all participants of these rules and ensuring that only authorized attendees join the session.

6. Official Documentation and Third-Party Licenses

Official manuals, software, plugins, sample assets, and manufacturer resources may be governed by separate licenses. A participant must comply with those licenses. Motionforge Edit cannot grant rights in third-party materials and does not authorize a participant to copy or distribute them beyond the permissions granted by their owner.

7. Participant Content

The participant retains ownership of original project files and other content submitted for instructional review. The participant grants Motionforge Edit a limited license to access, display, reproduce temporarily, and discuss the submitted content only as reasonably necessary to provide the requested service, maintain security, document support, or comply with law.

The participant must not submit content that is unlawful, infringing, confidential without authorization, malicious, deceptive, or harmful. Motionforge Edit may decline to open or review files that present security, privacy, licensing, or confidentiality concerns.

8. Feedback

If a participant voluntarily provides general suggestions about the website, course format, or educational materials, Motionforge Edit may use those suggestions to improve the services without restriction or payment, provided that this does not transfer ownership of the participant's confidential project files or original creative work.

9. Acceptable Conduct

Participants must communicate professionally and must not harass, threaten, impersonate, discriminate against, or expose personal information about instructors, staff, other participants, or third parties. The services may not be used to facilitate unlawful surveillance, infringement, fraud, malware, unauthorized system access, or violation of workplace or client obligations.

10. Enforcement

Suspected misuse may result in access limits, preservation of relevant logs, a request for explanation, removal from a live session, suspension, termination, or legal action. Motionforge Edit may use technical measures to identify unusual access patterns, shared credentials, mass downloading, or unauthorized publication. Refunds are not required for termination resulting from a material violation to the extent permitted by law.

11. Reporting Infringement

A person who believes that material available through the services infringes that person's rights should provide a description of the work, identification of the allegedly infringing material, contact information, a statement of good-faith belief, a statement of accuracy and authority, and a physical or electronic signature. Incomplete notices may delay review.

12. Reservation of Rights

All rights not expressly granted are reserved. Permission for any use outside this Policy must be obtained in writing before the use begins. Silence, prior tolerance, or failure to enforce a restriction in one instance does not create a continuing license or waiver.
