Payment, Cancellation & Refund Policy
1. Prices and Charges
Standard advertised pricing is $150 for a one-hour focused workflow lecture, group workflow lectures starting at $300, and $500 for the Motion Capture: Zero to Pro course. A custom written quote may apply when a group requests additional time, preparation, specialized topics, multiple instructors, internal documentation review, or delivery across several sessions. The price shown in a written quote, checkout, invoice, or order confirmation controls for that purchase.
Prices are in United States dollars unless stated otherwise. Taxes may be added where required. The participant is responsible for currency-conversion charges, card-issuer fees, bank fees, and other third-party charges.
2. Payment Authorization
Payment is due at the time of purchase unless a written invoice states another due date. The participant represents that the participant is authorized to use the selected payment method and authorizes the payment processor to charge the total displayed amount. An order may be declined, delayed, or canceled if payment cannot be verified, if fraud is suspected, or if required information is incomplete.
Motionforge Edit normally does not receive or store complete payment-card information. Payment providers process card information under their own terms and privacy notices.
3. One-to-One Session Cancellation and Rescheduling
- More than 48 hours before the scheduled start: the participant may request one reschedule without a change fee or may request a refund of the session price.
- Between 24 and 48 hours before the scheduled start: the participant may request one reschedule subject to availability. A refund, if requested instead, may be limited to 50% of the session price.
- Less than 24 hours before the scheduled start, late arrival, or nonattendance: the session is generally nonrefundable because instructor time has been reserved. A courtesy reschedule may be offered in exceptional circumstances but is not guaranteed.
A rescheduled session must normally occur within 60 days of the original date. Additional rescheduling may require a new booking.
4. Group Session Cancellation and Rescheduling
- Seven or more calendar days before the first scheduled session: a group may request a refund or one reschedule without a change fee.
- Between three and seven calendar days before the first session: a group may request one reschedule. A refund may be limited to 50% of the amount paid because preparation and calendar time may already have been committed.
- Less than 72 hours before the first session or group nonattendance: payment is generally nonrefundable. A new date may require an additional scheduling fee or new purchase.
Changing the number of participants, requested topics, duration, or technical preparation may change the quoted price.
5. Recorded Course and Digital Material Refunds
A participant may request a refund for the Motion Capture: Zero to Pro course within seven calendar days after access is first delivered if the participant has not accessed more than approximately 10% of the core course, downloaded a substantial portion of the materials, attended a bundled live component, or otherwise consumed a meaningful part of the digital product. We may review access and download records to evaluate eligibility.
After the seven-day period, or after substantial access, downloads, or use, the course is generally nonrefundable because digital content can be consumed or copied immediately. A refund may still be considered where the course was materially misdescribed, duplicate payment occurred, access could not be delivered for reasons within our control, or mandatory law requires a remedy.
6. Technical Problems
A temporary technical problem does not automatically create a right to a refund. The participant should contact us promptly and provide a description of the problem, device and browser information, screenshots when appropriate, and reasonable cooperation with troubleshooting. We may restore access, provide an alternative file, extend the access period, reschedule a session, or provide another reasonable remedy.
If Motionforge Edit cannot deliver a paid service within a reasonable period because of a problem within its control, the participant may be offered a replacement date, substitute delivery, account credit, or refund for the undelivered portion.
7. Instructor Cancellation
If Motionforge Edit must cancel or materially reschedule a live session, the participant may accept a replacement date or request a refund for the affected undelivered session. We are not responsible for participant travel, equipment rental, lost production time, contractor costs, or other indirect expenses connected with an online session.
8. Refund Request Procedure
A refund or cancellation request must include the participant's name, purchase email, order or invoice reference, program name, scheduled date if applicable, and a brief explanation. Requests should be sent using the contact information below. We may request additional information reasonably necessary to locate the transaction and prevent fraud.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method whenever practical. Processing time depends on the payment provider and financial institution. Motionforge Edit cannot control the time a bank takes to post the credit.
9. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Participants should contact Motionforge Edit before initiating a chargeback so that delivery, access, cancellation, or billing issues can be reviewed. Filing a knowingly false or abusive chargeback may result in suspension of access and recovery of costs to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in this section prevents a participant from exercising lawful payment-dispute rights.
10. Promotions, Credits, and Discounts
Promotional prices and credits may have separate eligibility, expiration, and use conditions. Unless stated otherwise, they have no cash value, cannot be transferred, cannot be combined, and apply only to future purchases. If a refunded transaction used a discount, the refund will not exceed the amount actually paid.
11. No Automatic Renewal Unless Disclosed
Standard lectures and courses are one-time purchases and do not automatically renew. If a future service includes recurring billing, the recurring amount, frequency, renewal terms, and cancellation method will be clearly disclosed before purchase and will be governed by the terms shown at enrollment.
12. Mandatory Consumer Rights
This Policy does not limit a refund, cancellation, repair, replacement, or other remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. Rules applicable to a participant may differ according to residence, transaction type, method of sale, and other facts. Where mandatory law conflicts with this Policy, the mandatory rule controls.
